When is a watchdog not a watchdog? When they have no powers and the board of directors is peppered with known con men. There’s a good write up here about British property buyer’s “watchdog,” the AIPP.

There doesn’t seem to be any comment from Paul Owen in all this – was he given a right to reply? If not why not? Who is Mark and why doesn’t he tell us if he’s a journalist, a property specialist himself, a buyer? What? How do we know this isn’t heavily biaised as a piece of writing?
Mr. Owen is welcome to comment.
